H&J Outdoor Winter/Spring Series 2023

This great series is on again this year. Rec, Sport, Expert & E-Bike categories & multiple age groups.

Registrations on the day from 9:00am. Race briefing at is at 10:25am, race start 10:30am sharp! Briefings and starts will be staggered.

​​​​​​​Where: Sandy Point Mountain Bike Track, Sandy Point Road, Invercargill.

When: First Sunday of each month, May to October.

Round 1 - Sunday 7th May

Round 2 - Sunday 4th June

Round 5 -Sunday 3rd September

Round 6 - Sunday 1st October Final

Start time: Registration on the day from 9:30am and race briefing at 10:25, race start 10:30am sharp!

Entry fee: Entries on the day: $5 Southland MTB Club members, $10 non-members (join for $20) Children Under 12 Free. Please enter before 10.00am.  ​​​​​​​

Categories: Kids Loop, Rec (1 lap), Sport (2 laps), Expert (3 laps), E-Bike.

Ages: Under 12,15,19, Open, Vet and Masters, age is taken as of the 2nd October.

Series Points:To be eligible for overall series points you must do at least three races. Points will be worked out from your best four results. The final is worth double points.

2nd=17 points

3rd=15 points

4th=13 points

5th=12 points

6th=11 points

7th=10 points

8th=9 Points

9th=8 Points

10th=7 Points

11th=6 Points

12th=5 Points

13th= 4 Points

14th= 3 Points

15th= 2 Points

16th on 1 point
