SMTBC  Strava Champs 2026

Strava Champs Bluff 2026 is on!

For the whole month of March, we’re running a Southland MTB Club Strava Club Champs on the Bluff trails.

Ride anytime, as many laps as you like. The course is fully marked with arrows, and there will be multiple age groups. If you can ride 2 laps (Sport) at Winter Series, you’ll be sweet for this.

Course overview:

Start at the intersection of Pearce St Track and the bottom of Weezer.

Head up Weezer → right after the first pond → up Whiskey Creek → tight left into the short link → join Konini (bypassing the gnarly start) → left down Konini → right up Weezer → follow Weezer to the top → down The Fix to Kotare → right, short climb → left into B‑Line → follow to the hub → left into Kohuhu → finish at the Strava sign ~50m before the carpark.

Get out there, log your laps, and let’s see who climbs to the top of the leaderboard!

Due to the sections of Sandy that are closed and the reduced number of tracks we are looking at running a couple of rounds of Dominator Doors Winter Series at Bluff. 2 & 3 laps could look a bit like this. 1 lap would be easier tracks.
